Terms of use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between Mensha codes, which runs Waqti ("Waqti", "we"), and the people who use it: shops that run their queue and bookings on Waqti, and customers who join a line or book a time. By using Waqti you agree to them.
For customers
Waqti is free for customers. Wait times are estimates based on the shop's services and team, and can change. The shop, not Waqti, provides the service and decides the order, prices and any changes to your booking. Contact the shop about your visit.
Use your own name and a phone number you can be reached on, and don't hold places you don't intend to use.
Shop accounts
You must be 18 or older and able to act for the business. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens in your account, including what your team does.
Trial and payment
New shops get a 14-day free trial, with no card needed. After that, Waqti is a paid plan at the price shown when you subscribe. Payment is due on the due date shown in your dashboard. If it's late, you have a 7-day grace week; after that, we may pause your shop's queue and bookings until it's paid.
Prices may change; we'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. Payments for a period already started aren't refunded, unless the law requires it.
Your customers' data
Your customer list belongs to your shop. We store and process it only to run Waqti for you, keep it secure, and don't use it for anything else. You can export it at any time from Customers.
As the shop, you're responsible under the PDPA for how you use your customers' details: only for their visits and anything they agreed to, and only import lists you're allowed to use. Pass on any requests to see, correct or delete data that we can't handle from your dashboard, and we'll help.
Fair use
Don't use Waqti to:
- Send spam or marketing to customers who didn't agree to it.
- Break the law, or run a business that's illegal in Malaysia.
- Access another shop's data, overload the service, or try to get around its security.
The service
We work to keep Waqti available and accurate, and to fix problems quickly, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; if we remove something important you rely on, we'll tell you first.
The Waqti name, logo, website and software belong to Waqti. Your shop's name, logo, photos and data stay yours.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Waqti isn't liable for indirect losses such as lost business or profit, and our total liability to a shop is limited to what it paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that can't be excluded.
Ending your account
You can stop using Waqti at any time by emailing us. Export your customers first; we delete shop data as described in the Privacy notice. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or stays unpaid, and will tell you why.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes go to the Malaysian courts. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll email shop owners at least 30 days before. If the translations differ, the English version applies.
